Why Green Me OZ

For many years I have slowly made small changes in my life to try and become more green. I really can't tell you how long I have been carting around those green bags religiously, trying to conserve energy around my home and at work and helping to reduce our impact on the environment (I was the 'reduce, reuse, recycle' ambassador at work for many years!). Now with two small kids I am trying to educate them on how to live a greener life.

I've always wanted to try and get the 'green' message across but in a way that will make people listen. Baby steps I say. Make small 'green' changes in your life that will have huge impacts on both you and the environment in the long run.

Just by making a small change you can have an impact. Check out my page on 'Living Green' for more information - easy ideas to help you and the environment.

Just lately, and the reason why I finally got off my bum and put the website and blog together, is that I heard about the potential health risks associated with using products that contain Bisphenol A (BPA). I of course started to research it and was dumbfounded by the impact this harsh chemical is having. My thought was "what can I do to try and tell people about this chemical and try to get them to stop using it?". The manufacturers and large companies will deny there is a health risk however studies are proving otherwise (please check out my page 'About BPA' for more information).

So here I am with my website and blog and my goals:

- Provide a range of safe, chemical free products.
- Help reduce our impact on the environment.
- Help educate people on how they can make a difference to the health and wellbeing of themselves and the environment.

Being green can have a positive impact on your life and the way you see things. If you think you are just one person and that you won’t make a difference, think again. It may seem hard at first because the majority of our society is not green. But with the impact we are having on the environment change is on the cards. So why not give it a go - you will be helping yourself, your family and the planet.

One step at a time, you can make a difference.
